Little India, Brickfields
The first thing that greets our eyes are the collage of color and aromatic spice as our car turned into Little India, Brickfields. Wide colored arches and murals depicting Indian culture adorned the side of the road, ushering us into a new dimension. This isn't exactly a shopping paradise, but a place to get in touch with your inner sense of travel and cultural appreciation.
Little India offers merchandises for religious worship, traditional clothes, food as well as Indian jewelry. For those celebrating Deepavali or Thaipusam, Little India is definitely the place to go to for the best prices.
Charming arches of elephantine proportion with Indian motives are erected at the junction. Traffic around the area is bad and the parking is expensive. Brace for impact if you are travelling to Brickfields.
